ICYMI: Fuel Pump Price to Be Raised to N140 Amid Dwindling Economic Projections

Nigeria’s Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has increased the pump price of petrol to N140.80/143.80 per litre from the present N121.50 per litre.

The regulatory agency announced the new retail price band to marketers in a circular dated July 1, 2020 and signed by its Executive Secretary, Abdulkadir Saudi. 

Recall The pump price of petrol was on June 1, 2020, exactly a month ago, reduced to N121.50 per litre from N123 per litre.

Meanwhile some concerns have been raised by Nigerians over the decision on the purse of the average Nigerian amidst the COVID 19 pandemic which has resulted in loss of jobs and poor sales in some businesses.
